Nas and Mass Appeal Team Up With LiveXLive To Create Original Urban-Focused Content
Live entertainment company LiveXLive has signed a deal with rapper Nas and music company Mass Appeal (which is home to Nas’ label) for ‘a 360 degree partnership’ to create, produce, and distribute original urban-focused content.
Mass Appeal and Nas will also curate a Slacker Radio station, and work with LiveXLive to establish brand partnerships and develop new opportunities within the urban and hip hop genres.
Under the terms of the agreement, LiveXLive, Nas, and Mass Appeal will also jointly develop and produce a slate of premium original content for the LiveXLive platform or co-produce original content to be sold to third-party platforms.
Nas will also serve as one of LiveXLive’s brand ambassadors and curate programming with Mass Appeal for Slacker Radio station.
Nas added: “I’m excited for Mass Appeal to continue expanding into different areas of media and music consumption in 2019.
“Our partnership with LivexLive is the next step in that evolution. We want to show the power live performances can have in connecting with fans, and this collaboration will bring them experiences in real time.”
