Nigerian singer Asake has reportedly put forward several works for consideration ahead of the 2027 Grammy Awards, according to details circulating across online music platforms. The unconfirmed list outlines ambitious entries across both general and genre-specific fields, reflecting an intention to contest some of the Recording Academy’s most prominent honors.
Among the reported submissions is the project titled M$NEY, which has allegedly been entered into contention for Album of the Year as well as Best Global Music Album. In addition, Asake’s collaborative effort with fellow Nigerian star Wizkid, titled Jogodo, is reportedly positioned for consideration in the Best African Music Performance category, a dedicated field inaugurated during the 2024 ceremony to highlight musical output from the continent.
The circulating entries also feature individual tracks entered across multiple categories. The song Gratitude has reportedly been submitted for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, alongside an entry in the Best African Music Performance category. Another track, titled Worship, has also surfaced as part of the circulating consideration list.
