Pearl Thusi to Co-Host New SABC1 Travel Show Just Travel SA

South African actress and media personality Pearl Thusi is set to make a return to domestic television screens as the co-host of an upcoming travel show on SABC1. The new presenting assignment marks her reappearance on local broadcast television following an extended absence from domestic network programming.

Thusi will front the programme, titled Just Travel SA, alongside fellow media personality and presenter Lungile Radu. The production is scheduled to debut on the public broadcaster’s channel on 26 October 2026, pairing two of the country’s experienced broadcast hosts for the exploration format.

Media Formats and Cultural Showcases

The venture places Thusi and Radu at the helm of a lifestyle format intended to document and showcase travel across South Africa. For Thusi, whose profile includes significant work across film, scripted television, and entertainment presenting, the project represents a formal return to the South African television circuit.

Television productions centered on travel and lifestyle in South Africa frequently serve as vital cultural conduits, connecting regional destinations and local creative scenes with broad national audiences. Platforms like SABC1 continue to play a strategic role in showcasing domestic talent, cultural heritage, and entertainment figures across the Southern African media landscape.
